Ford tapped up students at Ann Arbor to create a new promotional automotive product that could be installed in their automobiles. Using custom technology provided by Microsoft’s Windows 7, the students created a group travel assist program. This program serves as a functional customized map in which all the cars of a party can be tracked, put in contact with, and shown stops along the way. It really is quite interesting to see what these students dished out, and Ford will be releasing the product with it’s new Fiesta model!

Google Chrome has now added the one feature that had it lacking in comparison to Mozilla Firefox. By adding geopolitical custom technology, Chrome has now attained the ability to reveal a computer’s world location, allowing for services to determine which stations to provide a host with output from. Chrome’s allowing for its browser to turn into a promotional map will revolutionize it’s use in the work sphere, making it one of the more befitting browsers to be used worldwide!

Little did Wendy Southgate know that when she took her dog out for a walk around the block that she’d become the most photographed woman on Google Earth’s street view function. Her husband happened to use the interactive promotional map to see his house when he noticed almost all of the pictures contained her and their beloved pet. Talk about custom technology going crazy, she can now be viewed by anyone in the world…but at least she’ll have the benefit knowing that people are seeing her excercising and being healthy!

This comic perfectly exemplifies those typical workdays where your boss requests the impossible from you and your left with no idea how to accomplish your task. Just imagine if your boss made this same request, with the one change being that he or she wanted it in a promotional book!

Lousy Prototype!

Given the recent event where Apple engineer Gray Powell left his iPhone prototype at a bar (on his birthday), and someone picked it up and sold it to Gizmodo for $5000, it seems quite appropriate to show Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak’s humorous reaction. The new iPhone G4, as we all know, is supposed to be packed with the latest custom computer technology, and after how devastated Powell seems, it’s nice to see Wozniak lend the kid some support. Donning the promotional shirt shown here, while drinking a beer and staring at his iPhone, Wozniak shows us that he’s an extremely nice fellow, who can appreciate that accidents do happen.

Google has taken it to the next level this Earth Day by using its custom computer technology popularity to address the main environmental issue…the rain forest. By meshing the rain forest in with its custom Google logo, the company is raising promotional awareness to the fact that our rain forest, which provides most of the world’s oxygen and ingredients for medications, is being destroyed at an alarming rate. Google is clearly trying to raise a call for aid to stop this type of environmental destruction, and you should join in on the fight as well!
