Microsoft will re-launch Windows Live Search under the new brand name of Kumo, which means “cloud” or “spider” in Japanese (somewhat of a zen-like translation). So is Microsoft going to have a tech launch party for this re-branding venture because they are going to have to create some sort of brand awareness and promotional marketing initiative to reestablish Live Search (Kumo) within this ever-changing internet industry! Rebranding is a tricky move so we shall see how Microsoft does!
